InterPlanetary File System is a set of both protocols and technologies, ensuring the globally distributed file system functioning built on the P2P hosting principle. In such a network, all the nodes are equal, being able to act as both consumers and content providers. Information is searched using a distributed hash table (DHT), and content is addressed using file hash sums.
The fundamentally new data transmission technology over the Internet is rapidly gaining popularity among users all over the world. This is still an unexplored technology for Ukraine, and information about it is being distributed so far in a fairly narrow circle of IT specialists.
IPFS – is a new peering hypermedia protocol. It is focused on becoming a full-fledged alternative to the HTTP hypertext transfer protocol, which is now used on the Web.
The advantages of IPFS are speed, stability, performance and security.
IPFS works on the torrent client principle, when the plural users number distributes, downloaded once, as the new user needs it.
All the same file owners are figuratively combined into a separate group of identical information carriers, which is distributed in parts simultaneously from all devices. Getting to the new computer from different repositories, file parts are converted into one replica of the original material.

There are no failure points. Having numerous sites, replicating website or its parts, the output of one, several, or even most of them will not affect the website availability
Currently, large Internet companies use dozens and hundreds of server centers, forming the infrastructure, which will withstand the sudden influx of visitors, the main servers’ failure, and often the physical cable break. The “one server, one website” configuration days are long over, but outdated technologies are still used.
The global Internet community is approaching a milestone when the price for providing content to exceed all the advantages and profits from its implementation.
The situation is greatly complicated by the extremely rapid increase in the number of network users. And with the IoT (Internet of Things) technology propagation, an increasing number of private requests on an ongoing basis worsens both the speed and communication quality.
China was one of the first to encounter network congestion problems, and therefore IPFS technology is spreading and developing in a certain country more noteworthily than in other states. Succeeding with the new Internet system transition, China is ready to offer the most effective methods and means for other countries’ adaptation representatives.
Developers guarantee companies with large data amounts can save millions only on throughput using the P2P methodology.
